This supportive workshop builds confidence through clear alignment cues, fundamental postures, and an introduction to breath and movement principles. It’s the perfect place to learn the basics before joining drop-in classes.

All Levels Vinyasa

A flowing, breath-led class that truly lives up to its name. Teachers offer modifications and variations for every level, making this class accessible for beginners while also providing deeper options for more experienced practitioners.

New students can move at a comfortable pace, while seasoned yogis can explore stronger shapes, longer holds, or advanced transitions. This makes All Levels Vinyasa a supportive space to grow your practice over time.

Practitioners Who Are More Advanced:

More Advanced Classes at MĀ

For students with an established practice who are ready to explore greater depth, strength, and philosophical inquiry:

All Levels Vinyasa

A dynamic, breath-led flow that offers both accessibility and challenge. Teachers provide layered options and variations, allowing more experienced students to explore deeper expressions of postures while maintaining mindful movement.

This class supports continued growth through creative sequencing, strength-building, and fluid transitions — ideal for practitioners looking to refine and expand their practice.

AMAI (Asana, Movement & Awareness Integration)

A unique asana class where stillness and movement merge with philosophical inquiry in a way that transcends the conventional. AMAI is a journey through thoughtfully sequenced postures, enriched with ancient teachings and amplified by the vibrant energy of immersive music.

This redefined vinyasa offers a pathway into self-exploration through non-dual philosophical perspectives, engaging both body and awareness in a deeply original way. Expect moments of strength, fluidity, and pause — woven together to create a practice that is both grounding and expansive.

Please note: Music is intentionally played louder at certain points in this class to enhance the immersive experience.

Tattvas Yoga Studies – with Tiaga Prem

Tattvas Yoga Studies is a progressive and intelligent approach to Hatha Raja Yoga developed through 28 years of research and practice by Tiaga Prem, influenced by the lineages of Sri Dharma Mittra, T. Krishnamacharya, and Dhirendra Brahmachari.

Practitioners explore four integrated paths of practice:

  • Maintenance Path – supporting joint health and longevity

  • Vitality Path – cultivating strength, rhythm, and cardiovascular energy

  • Pliability Path – increasing mobility, flexibility, and spinal extension

  • Renewal Path – restoring balance through breath and meditative awareness

Each session weaves elements from all four paths, intentionally training different areas of the body week to week. Examples include spinal extensions and splits from the Pliability Path, Hanuman Namaskar from the Vitality Path, and joint maintenance techniques from the Maintenance Path.

This method is an excellent support for athletes and yoga practitioners from any lineage and is recommended for students seeking intelligent physical training combined with meditation and philosophy.

Workshops & Specialty Intensives

(when offered)

Advanced workshops such as arm balances, inversions, mobility intensives, and philosophy-based practices allow students to dive deeper into specific skills or themes. These longer-format sessions offer detailed breakdowns, intelligent progressions, and space for inquiry.

For experienced practitioners

If you’re comfortable with sun salutations, transitions, and foundational postures, these offerings provide opportunities to deepen both physical and philosophical aspects of your practice.

Practitioners that are looking for Meditation and Relaxation:

Relaxation and Stretching Classes

If your intention is to slow down, regulate your nervous system, and cultivate inner stillness, these offerings support deep rest and mindful awareness:

All props are provided.

A deeply restful practice focused on complete support and relaxation. Using bolsters, blankets, and blocks, poses are held in total comfort to allow the body and mind to unwind fully. This class is perfect for burnout, recovery, and nervous system regulation.

Just bring yourself — props are provided.

Gentle & Slow Flow Classes

Slower-paced flow classes with an emphasis on breath and mindful movement. These offerings allow you to move meditatively while staying connected to internal awareness, making them a beautiful bridge between stillness and motion.

Breath, mantra, and gentle movement come together to support energetic balance and mental clarity. These classes emphasize awareness and regulation, offering a meditative experience through rhythmic breathing and sound.

Not sure where to begin?

If relaxation is your primary goal, we recommend Restorative, Yin, or Sound classes. You’re always welcome to speak with our teachers — we’re happy to help guide you toward a practice that feels supportive.

Practitioner’s Who Love Music:

For the Love of Music

If rhythm, sound, and atmosphere are a big part of your practice, these classes and events weave music deeply into the experience:

AMAI Yoga

AMAI is a music-forward asana class where movement, stillness, and philosophy merge into an immersive experience. Carefully curated playlists amplify the energetic arc of the practice, guiding you through moments of strength, release, and reflection.

This redefined vinyasa invites self-exploration through non-dual philosophical themes, engaging both body and awareness in a deeply original way.

Please note: music is intentionally played louder at certain points to enhance the immersive experience.

All Levels Vinyasa (Teacher Dependent)

Many of our vinyasa teachers thoughtfully integrate music into their classes, using rhythm and mood to shape the flow. Depending on the teacher, you may experience anything from subtle ambient soundscapes to energizing playlists that support breath and movement.

This makes All Levels Vinyasa a great option for practitioners who enjoy being guided by music while still receiving modifications and options for their level.

Monthly Kirtans

Join us for our community Kirtan gatherings, where call-and-response chanting creates a powerful shared musical experience. These sessions are open to everyone — no singing experience needed — and offer a joyful, heart-opening way to connect through mantra and sound.

Sound Healing & Sound Immersion Classes

Experience the vibrational power of instruments such as crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, and monochord. These deeply relaxing sessions use sound as the primary guide, helping to calm the nervous system and support meditation and emotional release.

Sound Workshops & Special Events

Throughout the year we host sound-focused workshops and intensives, exploring topics such as frequency, resonance, mantra, and the therapeutic use of sound. These longer-format sessions allow for deeper learning, exploration, and hands-on experience.

Live Music Yoga Classes

(when offered)

Occasionally our schedule includes classes accompanied by live musicians or vocalists, creating a truly immersive and ceremonial atmosphere. These are special offerings for practitioners who love being moved by live sound during practice.

Not sure where to start?

If music is a big part of what draws you to practice, try AMAI, Sound Healing, or a music-led Vinyasa class. Our teachers are always happy to share which offerings currently feature strong musical elements.

Community Testimonials

ma-wellness-yoga

MA has been, hands down the most wonderful studio I’ve been to. The vibe here is authentic, easy going and magical. How wonderful to practice yoga with the live sounds of crystal bowls, chimes and gongs! I love that the studio already has your mat and props cleaned and ready for you upon entry. No need to lug my mat around, or pay any additional rental mat fees. Speaking of fees, MA has the most affordable membership options and special student pricing. Victoria is so lucky to have this oasis. Thank You for providing community, resources and peace of mind for all those who seek it.
