FAQ
Common questions
Many extended health plans offer coverage for massage therapy performed by a Registered Massage Therapist. Policies typically provide a percentage of coverage or up to a specific dollar amount per calendar year. We recommend checking your extended health care booklet or contacting your HR coordinator for details.
We offer direct billing to most insurance providers for your convenience.
Your appointment begins with a confidential health history form, followed by a brief interview and assessment with your therapist. After the assessment, the therapist will step out while you undress to your comfort level and settle onto the table under a sheet. The therapist will return and begin treatment — the entire process is designed to be professional, respectful, and unhurried.
Most people experience a deep sense of relaxation following their session. It's common to feel slightly fatigued as your body releases stored tension — this is normal and part of the healing process.
After an initial adjustment period, many clients notice increased energy levels that can last for days. For severe tension or soft tissue damage, your therapist may recommend a series of treatments. We always recommend staying well-hydrated after your session.
We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations or changes. Late cancellations incur a fee of 100% of the treatment cost charged to your card on file. Emergencies within the 24-hour window are charged a reduced fee of 50%.
We understand things come up — just let us know as soon as possible.
